Where Every Stay Becomes a Memory
Welcome to Cloud View Retreat by Neel Tara Group - a peaceful mountain retreat nestled in the serene surroundings of Dawaipani, Darjeeling.
Born from a passion for the mountains and a genuine love for hospitality, Cloud View Retreat was created with one simple thought - a stay in the hills should feel less like a hotel visit and more like coming home.
Surrounded by nature, fresh mountain air and breathtaking Himalayan views, our retreat offers a perfect blend of comfort, warmth and the timeless charm of the hills.
Our Story
At Neel Tara Group, we believe that the best journeys are not only about the places you visit, but also about the moments you experience along the way.
Cloud View Retreat is our effort to create those moments.
From the first welcome to your morning cup of Darjeeling tea, from peaceful evenings overlooking the mountains to conversations shared over a warm homemade meal - every detail is designed to make your stay comfortable, personal and memorable.
We have created a space where families can slow down, couples can reconnect, friends can create memories and travellers can simply breathe.
A Retreat With a View
Perched amidst the natural beauty of Dawaipani, Cloud View Retreat offers a tranquil escape away from the rush of everyday life.
On clear days, the majestic Kanchenjunga becomes the highlight of the horizon, while the surrounding hills, forests and changing mountain skies create a different experience with every passing hour.
Our carefully designed rooms, spacious balconies, peaceful surroundings and warm hospitality come together to create an experience that is both relaxing and unforgettable.
More Than Just a Stay
We don’t believe hospitality is only about rooms, facilities or amenities.
It is about how you feel when you arrive.
It is about a warm welcome after a long journey, a comfortable room waiting for you, freshly prepared food, helpful guidance when you want to explore, and the feeling that someone genuinely cares about your stay.
That is the experience we strive to create at Cloud View Retreat.
Our Philosophy
These three ideas define everything we do.
We want our guests to experience the beauty of the mountains without giving up the comfort of a thoughtfully designed stay.
We believe in simple things done well , clean and comfortable spaces, delicious homemade food, genuine hospitality and attention to the little details that make a journey special.
Our Promise
Every guest arrives with a different reason for travelling.
Some come to explore Darjeeling and the surrounding hills.
Some come looking for peace.
Some come to celebrate a special occasion.
And some simply want to escape the noise of everyday life.
Whatever brings you here, our promise is simple:
“You arrive as a guest. You leave with memories.”
